Americans convicted of a felony should be held accountable for their actions, however, after a person serves their time, their right to vote should be restored outright on all 50 states. Taking this right away from Americans for the remainder of their life is punishing them longer than their sentences. If a person has served their time in prison and commits no crimes thereafter, their right to vote should be restored upon completion of their sentence. Not all cases or crimes are the same. As we saw what they tried to do to our 47th President, cases are very different and the right to vote should not be taken away from felons due to this reason. The only people that should not have these rights restored are those convicted of treason.

I cannot think of a reason why anyone would disagree with this.
