Since 1946, the proper function of the Grand Jury in America has been reduced to a rubber stamp for government prosecutorial purposes. Rule 6b of the Federal Rules of the Grand Jury has deceptively been used to mislead the American People into believing that the Grand Jury’s INDEPENDENT ORIGINS AND NATURE has been dissolved; obsolete. This is NOT true! Due to the lack of proper civics education in our schools people have all but forgotten that the proper role of the Grand Jury in this country is: We the People keeping the government in check. This is where and how We the People have usurped our responsibility as the creators of the government and turned ourselves into serfs/servants of the thing We created.
In order for the Grand Jury to function properly according to its historical roots, Grand Jury members MUST act INDEPENDENTLY of all judicial/court influence. As the late Justice Anton Scalia stated in U.S. v. Williams (1992) …”the grand jury mentioned in the Bill of Rights …is a fixture of its own right. It belongs to NO BRANCH of the institutional government, serving as a kind of buffer or referee between the government and the People. Although the grand jury normally operates of course in the courthouse and under judicial auspices, its institutional relationship with the Judicial Branch has traditionally been at arm’s length.”. Much of the injustices faced by the American people today has been done by a very corrupt government body focused on their specific agenda. This corrupt body is then backed by and supported by a corrupt and complicit court system. Recent examples: January 6th prisoners, pro-life imprisoned activists and even the now 47th President Donald J. Trump. The true nature of the Grand Jury (We the People) keeping the government in check has been hidden, suppressed. It’s time for this body (the Grand Jury) to take on its former glory as afforded in the Bill of Rights. In order to truly Make America Great Again, we must allow We the People have their original authority (according to the Bill of Rights) returned. The proper function of the Grand Juries in every county across this nation must be absolutely restored.
