Windows are a huge heat or cooling loss for houses 25+ years old and if replaced with new could save homeowners money on heating or cooling costs and save energy, plus reduce carbon emissions. Currently, there are incentives for solar panels and electric cars, but nothing for windows. This additional incentive , if made in the USA was required, would also increase window manufacturing and put more people in the install business, so more people working and paying taxes. It’s a win/win and just common sense.

I concur this should be implemented as most homes built before the 2000s have single pane windows and not just cooling but most importantly keeping heated homes more efficiently warm
