Require all advertising entities to report verified Room for rent ads to IRS annually

When I moved to California, I could not find an affordable rental. The majority of apartments had 10 year waiting list. The apartments charged a fee to apply and add your name to the waiting list, therefore kept their income moving for paperwork submissions with 10 year waiting list. I had no choice but to participate in the “rent a room” scheme in the state, which the hidden income for a very large amount of residence. It was city after city of these rooms to rent and county after county of searching and only rooms to rent were not cheap starting at $700 and up. No kitchen or house use. False partitions, human intrusions at many times. I came out of a shower to a person standing at the sink. Are they reporting the rental as income for tax purposes? This needs to be addressed as it causes homeownership and rentals to be unfairly high in cost and unaffordable. Stop the “room for rent” scheme of the non reported income from renting rooms. Require all advertising companies to obtain personal information, address location and ID verification on a form to submit to IRS for reporting purposes annually if the ad is to run for the room to rent. Bring back home rentals to private families at an affordable price and privacy and stop the illegal income through room rental. Make it a federally required reporting for any advertising agency to verify and report these types of rental ads to IRS. Id required and verified for reporting purposes.
