I agree. This fake news is causing massive harm to our country. Look at COVID the pamdemic that almost destroyed the world. This was all over blown and the so called vaccine and treatments had worse effects than the weak virus itself. It caused a massive transer of wealth from small business owners to the big box stores and the pharma companies made billions. It caused mass divide in our country and allowed an election to be stolen from mail in ballots. All from legalized fake news.

This needs to be repealed on day one. At that point, mainstream media won’t be able to lie and the propaganda will come to an end.

I believe the author is alluding to the MSM puppets. This act Obama snuck in allows the media to use propaganda at will which is constant bombardment. What been done is criminal. It’s a very easy way to control the mind think of the population and it must end.

This is good but I think it’s unwise to think that by repealing this, we wouldn’t be propogandized to. I think the only solution is to have access to more information, especially from first sources.
I completely agree with this, however, the propaganda has just gotten worse since 2012. Way before Obama did this, the media has basically been a mouth piece for the liberal government since its inception. We have been fed nothing but lies and whatever the government has wanted us to believe our entire lives- we just didn’t know it at the time.
I have tried to come up with a way to keep the news media honest; fact checking, large fines, loss of broadcasting licensing; but who is in charge of this- the FCC. If you want the FCC people honest, then do they also need term limits? Should they be appointed or voted in? How do we keep the governing body of the media honest and make sure they are doing their job properly?
So while the above act certainly needs repealed, the bigger issue is how to keep the media honest and be the part of the checks and balance system of our government that our founders intended it to be.
Let’s go a step farther, LIMIT the government by severely decreasing the federal government. Turn government into Governance run by the People. And, bring decision making back to the communities. Let’s make propaganda and lies a punishable offense and make sure we create a priority of staying on top of what is going on in the world, in our country, and our communities.
