I am on social media quite often and as i’m scrolling through comments I notice an overwhelming amount of illiteracy when people comment things. Often times they can’t spell or use simple 3 letter words in the right context. For example: I have seen people not know the correct usage of “our” vs “are” both words sound very similar but I have seen countless misuses of the words. We need to have more Americans reading books and increasing their literacy. The education system has failed them, we also need to pay our teachers more as well as educators that work around special needs children.
