Congressional members get the same percentage of raises every year as social security does!
Social Security raises don’t go along with actual cost of living. Yet, confessional members have been allowed to give themselves thousands of dollars in raises every year when not a single one of them are hurting financially!
Congressional members should NOT be allowed to vote in raises for themselves. Ever! They get the same raise SS recipients get!
And, their salaries should reflect their time spent actually working for WE THE PEOPLE! With no more closed door meetings, back room deals, accepting lobbiest money, etc!
