Right now, it is required that public notices are published in a print publication (ie: newspaper) of a certain size and subscription level.
This is very expensive, plus it funds the liberal media. Besides, most people don’t read print publications any more. It is also very geographically limited.
Additionally, the type is typically very small and difficult to read. It’s usually too expensive to include maps, or other pertinent information.
We need to allow publication of public notices to be online. Perhaps on the governmental website, or other respected 3rd party news organizations. In this way, we can augment our public notices, use type that is readable (or able to zoom in) and save the government a LOT of money. Plus, we don’t have to pay liberal papers.
