Any citizen that sends their children to an accredited Private School should be able to deduct the total expense of that education: tuition, uniforms, meals & travel, to and from, and any expenses incurred from extra curricular activities. Also, the public education portion of property taxes should be waived for these families as well. Families that are protecting their families future from the downfall of the public education system should not be forced to finance it. I loved my public school experience but from then, 1995, to now, a very troubling trend in the quality.

The problem with “accreditation” is that the process has been hijacked as well with all the Marxists ideology in the classrooms now. An alternate system needs to be created. I know of several Classical Liberal Arts schools not accredited but the programs are fantastic

If the schools have a history of educating children, the parents are sacrificing much to do so. It seems very reasonable to not penalize the parents. Being able to write off the expenses would add significant discounts to their tax liability.
