Schools while they have clubs and electives that may teach a wide range of subjects. Most students are pushed through STEM type classes and may take a mechanical, carpentry, choir, band or other type electives. I’ve noticed it’s pretty limited. We should see what can be done about adding practical programs that can benefits them after school at home or in the world as well.
A class that’ll teach hunter safety programs, classes that allow you to abstain your boater license, welding, gain knowledge in home maintenance(like working on dyers, washers, fix a sink), gardening, sewing, minor car repairs(like change a battery or oil), and even computer classes so they can learn key board shortcuts, access files, address minor errors that a PC may show up with.
Allow our future generation to have these simple skills that’ll help them be more self sufficient/reliant.
