Policy Imperatives for Health Freedom

First sober critique of HSA I’ve read. Bravo!

Thank you Marcos Rodriguez! Come give feedback on my Policy “Patient-centered-healthcare-quality-and-accountability-act” when you have time! It would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand correctly, under #1, childhood vaccines or vaccines period, would not be required–for school, to travel, etc. I hope that is the case.

I would like to see alternative health treatments promoted, i.e. medbeds, healing via frequency (sound, vibration, light), functional medicine taught and promoted, health promoted via good eating habits, proper nutrition, herbs that heal, etc. (These possibly fall under another category or policy)

The Supremes have repeatedly ruled in favor of vaccine mandate constitutionality, most recently in Biden v. Missouri (2022).

I agree… Many of us have been broken hearted to see Farms Fail… Farmers Markets are Brilliant

I do not eat the skins of my fruit now that ‘Apeel’ is on the market. With barely a blip on the news sources
I have yet to meet a person who is aware of even heard of it.

I was devastated to find out, my produce stores were using this! I noticed when the produce spoils it takes a different form of decay.

Feels like a violated right to me…

We have an opportunity to find other ways
Conolodyne… I think that is how it is spelled.

A breakthrough pain medication that has no chance to breakthrough the current medical paradigm.

Amazing overview especially focusing on repealing bad laws first and foremost. Include PBM which is basically legalized extortion. See the elements of my Care Freedom Act that includes a comprehensive definition of INFORMED CONSENT that is missing. Great stuff!
Good job pointing out bad laws for removal that people are not aware. Also address GOF with University grants = biolabs.
FYI CA Supreme Court already ruled Fluroide in water = no informed consent. Another big issue to tackle is large deductibles is price gouging making people pay while in crisis.

No, requires Americans to wake up and demand! Look at bill squashed today. Stop thinking backwards based on corruption.

You hit the target.

Then there is this, watch x.com

Extremely criminal!!! no doubt! They want to spray all of us like if we were bugs!

and noone with power is doing anything about it - so far.

I agree with this

The current OIG which is responsible for oversight is too woke . Recent congressional reports have indicated that they are focused on remaining political when they are supposed to be apolitical . The currently leadership of Christi Grimm who was famous for writing her op-ed against President Trump criticizing him because of her political ambitions to be the democrat governor nominee for the state of Colorado is horrifying .
And the democrat party allowed her to pack the OIG with her own deputies , and assistant oigs who all serve at the pleasure of the president . They dropped the ball on the office of refugee resettlement with all the children missing as they handed over to the NGOs the children without verifying who these traffickers were this allowed the children to be trafficked .
Yet when Bobby Kennedy is confirmed and takes over they will obstruct and hamstring every investigation or piece of congressional oversight . To get this fix all of them must be replaced Grimm all her deputies and all her assistant oigs . Put in new people who will focus on the priorities of the secretary (Bobby) and the president and congress . Else everything or any attempt to fix things will go down the drain . This is supposed to be the watchdog but Obama ensured that Biden put Christi Grimm and she ensured every deputy and assistant oig were extreme woke progressives who simply wil hamper and obstruct .So the solution is as follows

  1. Remove Grimm from the post of oig and replace her with someone new .
  2. Remove all the deputies and assistant oigs and replace them with new people who will actually do the job .
  3. Ensure that the policy mandated and oversight is done with congressional oversight input and the secretary’s input .
  4. Suspend the activities of the office of refugee resettlement.

PLEASE FIND CURE FOR PSSD, PFS LONG COVID , SAVE USA.
PEOPLE are dying

Amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) which defines the conditions under which drugs are classified as prescription or OTC. To make certain medications more readily available. Congress could amend provisions to relax criteria for OTC approval of medications in US that are currently available OTC in other countries. Americans are hit by fees and regulation at every step in the healthcare system and reducing this could improve our health. While alternative medicines absolutely have a place in healing, there are times that a traditional medication is needed. Currently safe medications like antibiotics, allergy medication, Ivermectin etc are held hostage requiring a prescription in the US. Creating a National Policy for Self-Care Access could improve many Americans health. A new federal framework could be established, emphasizing self-care and allowing low-risk medications (like antibiotics or antivirals) to be sold OTC. This means that Americans, especially those in rural or underserved areas, could access necessary medications without needing costly and time-consuming doctor visits. People could manage minor health issues on their own, reducing strain on healthcare providers and emergency departments. Timely access to medications could prevent the progression of conditions (e.g., UTIs, minor skin infections), improving overall health outcomes. Greater access to preventive treatments (e.g., antihistamines, antivirals) could reduce the spread of illness and alleviate chronic conditions. And OTC availability of common medications (e.g., antibiotics for minor infections) would reduce the financial burden of copays, insurance, and consultations. This move would piggy back on your desire to put the health care decisions of people back in their own hands. For example my daughter would get ear infections often as a child, every time she had an infection we would have to visit the provider and they wanted to limit antibiotic use so they would choose to allow her to suffer taking Tylenol for a week to see if her body would heal itself. After the week I would have to pay a second copay to bring her back when they would see she still had an ear infection and prescribe an antibiotic, I would tell them that her past experience with that specific antibiotic wasn’t great and it usually didn’t eradicate the ear infection, can you please prescribe this other one. They would assume that I don’t know my daughters medical history and they know better and prescribe the antibiotic of their choice….which would lessen the pain/infection…but as experienced in the past, it didn’t cure it. Which I would have to pay a third copay to visit the healthcare professional yet again to get the antibiotic that had worked in the past for her. This was three weeks of my child suffering, three copays for doctors visits, and 2 copays for medications that didn’t need to happen. The pushback the providers give of wanting to limit antibiotic use because overuse in America can lead to superbugs that antibiotics won’t work on……if antibiotics are being dispensed differently in the rest of the world already that “superbug” won’t just stay in their country. I see this as more of an excuse to keep the control the current health care system has. If Americans have access to common sense medications with the accurate labeling and warnings we would be able to truly take control of our health. Think of how Covid would have been altered should Americans had access freely to ivermectin.

Amen!!

I agree with this point all of the items listed in Leslie’s proposal are great they just need a breakdown to have one or 2 listed on each bill

I agree with Susan’s questions. I have concerns, but not answers.

Thank you Marcos . I’ve found it’s best to be constructive and logical in criticism as opposed to emotional.
One of the problems right now is these emails being sent out from Elon Musk secretary Kennedy needs to push back on him just as director Patel did .
He’s asking for five bullet points for federal law enforcement in the following categories this will only include classified information or information which has been obtained by a grand jury subpoena.
Federal law Enforcement and Intelligence officers should ideally respond to their management who can then ensure this information is passed along or briefed directly to the President as opposed to Elon Musk.
At the OIG of HHS for example Secretary Kennedy has jurisdiction he must also push back as the law enforcement section follows justice department guidelines.
