Remove the subsidy cliff on ACA set to reinstate after 2025. For middle class families not eligible for Medicaid or too young for Medicare, ACA is often the only health insurance coverage option. The subsidy cliff is unrealistically low on income and makes premiums outrageous for middle class families as a percentage of income if you are even $1 over the income limit. The current provisions limiting the percent of your income to 8.5 percent are set to expire in 2025.
