Bills should be given numerical identification when proposed rather than allowing those who write it to give it whatever name they please. For example, if a bill is proposed that would give each member of the House/Senate $1 million dollar bonuses, it would be given a numerical name/identifier such as Bill 14062, preventing it from being named the “Fiscal Responsibility and Political Charity Bill”. This would remove much of the optics associated with voting or not voting on certain bills as well as how they can be leveraged for political theater, for example it would remove ability for politicians/parties to slander one another by decrying “they voted against the Peace, Love, & Puppies Bill!”.
