Simple policy: The white house simply should not involve itself with sports whatsoever. This includes congratulatory calls to champion sports teams or invites to the white house.
It’s for another topic, but youth sports is having a very negative affect on American society. Professional sports even more. This is a simple way to give sports just a little less exposure. More importantly, it would be a very welcomed announcement as most people are sick of athletes not visiting the white house in “protest” of one thing or another. The solution is simple: no visits.
