(Sec. 3024) Clinical testing of investigational medical devices and drugs no longer requires the informed consent of the subjects if the testing poses no more than minimal risk to the subjects and includes safeguards.
This law needs to be repealed - no clinical testing of investigational medical devices and drugs without informed consent.
Informed consent should also be required if you’re seeing a APP, people often think they’re seeing a doctor when they’re not. The employer does this to make more money at the expense of YOUR own health.
Agreed. People don’t pay enough attention to the small print. Most of the time we cannot even tell which person or party is responsible for the policies that we object to.
For example, “Gain of Function” research. The most recent ban on this type of research was by President Donald Trump
. I saw a video someone uploaded on social media claiming the Biden administration was responsible for allowing it - yet try to backtrack its history and you will find both that at differing points in history both parties have been responsible for allowing this research and banning it -
