The Ninth Amendment historically has only been referenced in legal cases in case individual rights may be violated. Famously the Roe or Griswold cases have cited the ninth.
We need a new plan set forth that enumerates individual liberties that can prevent government over reach.
Censorship via social media platforms. Hunting to feed your family. Owning a squirrel.
Activities that do not endanger other people, do not require economic principles to enable, or otherwise cause no harm to any other person should not be regulated or enforced in the manner that they are currently enforced today.
We must use all available legal precedent to clearly define government activity that would be reasonably considered to infringe on the individual liberty of American citizens.
The government censored Americans through implied force. The government makes illegal the collection of rain water on our own properties. The government uses fines and fees to enforce a myriad of minor infractions, enabling the wealthy to ignore laws that would cripple less fortunate people should they run afoul of hundreds of thousands of legislative land mines.
The government killed Fred and Peanut. Clear government over reach. We must assert our rights as individuals citing the Ninth amendment as our inalienable right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness as individual citizens.
