To end corruption political figures both elected and appointed must be held accountable to the law and when warranted, face jail sentences similar to the legal punishments inflicted on everyday citizens.
It is clear that an objective jury cannot be assembled for Grand Jury or court proceedings when they are drawn from Washington DC itself, a jurisdiction with an overwhelming majority belonging to a single political party alignment, and where judges are appointed as activists. Political affiliation is tainting our ability to get grand jury indictments for political malfeasance enacted by the majority DC party, where tribalism and political loyalty overwhelm justice.
The federal government is elected by and accountable to the citizens of every state in the union. Require federal government employees in DC to utilize juries drawn from every state in the union. Break the one party stranglehold on who will and will not face accountability under the law. Moreover require judges to be randomly selected from the nation’s districts. End the ability of a few politically appointed activist judges to enable ongoing corruption and act as a bulwark against legal consequences for crooked politicians and government employees.
