As we found out during the pandemic, the government is and has been very cozy with main stream media (newpapers and tv) and social media platforms (facebook, YouTube, twitter) with the goal of controlling the narrative and manipulating the population to the end whoever is in charge sees fit and censoring any dissenting voice, which is a clear violation of the first amendment. I propose that we requiere that all interactions the federal government has with news agencies/social media platforms be made available to the public through an online portal to ensure that no violations of the rights of United States citizens and the constitution happen, with the ability for citizens to report interactions on said portal.
