Proposal to eliminate Federal income tax on all military personnel while serving AND transition upon honorable discharge of at least 4 years of active duty service to also include elimination of primary residence property taxes.
This would be a tremendous incentive for individuals to join our military, serve honorably, and earn these benefits. Its a WIN/WIN/WIN!
Could also look into a similar proposal for law enforcement.

I would go further for those with 20 years of honorable service, no income tax ever.
