Hello, this is amazing that The Peoples voices can be heard. My name is Brandon Parret and retired from the Army after 20 yrs of service in 2019.
I currently live in Montana where my retirement (not VA supplement pay) from the Army is taxed. I would like to see a policy where this President Trumps term look at a single issue bill to find a way where retired military pay isnt taxed. Some states already dont tax retirement pay for service members who have retired. I really would like to see this at the Federal level. I do know that states individually can either have a tax on military retirement pay or not. I think that this could be something the President elect Trumps team could find a way to not tax retirement pay. President Trump already has No Tax On Tips, I think No Tax On Retirement Pay for military service members should be a game changer and something millions of people would get behind.
