If insurance companies mass deny insurance claims of a state emergency situation, during or after said state emergency situation; they should be barred from selling the type of insurance they denied, within that state.
I don’t see the point of citizens paying home insurance, if the citizen taxpayer is going to pick up the tab in end and take the hit.
The public shouldn’t have to pay insurance, only to later have to fight a more well funded legal team for coverage that should have been provided.
