I’ve known a lot of people on food stamps, some needed it and others not, however I noticed something a long time ago. Most of what people got was just straight junk food.
It always astounded me. Why if the gov says they want to feed the children and keep them healthy, would candy, chips, soda, roman, etc be available like that? Because most of these people go for that junk, some milk and meat, no veggies or fruits. Just highly processed junk.
So I think, especially when scanners are so good. They should only be able to get meats, fruits & veggies, dairy, rice and beans, and others things that are way healthier than junckfood.
If they want poison like chips and candy, snacky cakes and soda they can pay for it out of their own pocket, not mine.
