Make Veterans Day A School Holiday Again

Veterans Day used to be a big deal when I was growing up. Sadly, the significance of this day has been forgotten in the public schools. Veterans Day has been sacrificed for other days. We need to remind the country how important this day is. Especially, the children. We used to have parades and activities in school that reinforced the importance of recognising our brave soldiers.
