The taxes from legalizing marijuana could help to tackle the national debt and create jobs that people desperately need right now!
It needs to be regulated. Too easy for kids to get - easier than alcohol. Thatās not a good thing.
I used to think this was the way. However, I donāt anymore. Weed makes people dumb, lazy, and unambitious. It might not for everyone but it does for most. I already hate having to smell it occasionally. If you make it legal people will get more blatant about it. If you get in trouble for smoking weed you probably arenāt in your home smoking a bowl. Youāre in public or being a nuisance somehow about it. Even if people donāt want to believe it. Weed is the first drug many addicts ever take. Not all people that smoke become junkies. However, all the junkies I have ever met smoked weed first. I personally donāt care if it can make America money. I donāt want us to sell our souls. All mind altering drugs detach a personally spiritually.
I agree and we should also push for the ability to grow our own cannabis. Having the ability to grow your own cannabis would allow people to grow their own medicine and also allow people to know what is being used to grow the cannabis.
Why is this narrative of Cannabis being bad still being pushed around? They can put restrictions on it just like everything else.
Then you should think more about abolishing alcohol
Repeal the CSA and decriminalize ALL drugs
Isnāt permission to take or use controlled substances just as important as permission to avoid those that are mandated?
Make patient autonomy great again!
Yes, this is the 21st century and we need to move past āreefer madnessā. We are gown ups now and realize the old propaganda is simply not true. Iād rather my son smoke a joint than to get drunk. Pleaseā¦Legalize Marijuana!!
NO!!! Chinaās Opium addiction was started with such notions. Every state that has legal pot is a mess. Increased crime. Increased unemployment. Decreased ambition. Being under the influence makes for bad decisions. Todayās pot is NOT the harmless (?) weed without stark damage. It is never going to go back to being unaltered, unmodified, mild intoxicant. The only people who benefit from this is the illegal grow farms. Should never be legal.
If it is legalized, then it should be regarded in the same manner as alcohol being that it is restricted to certain areas (i.e. homes and businesses specializing in such product) and must be of age to consume. As well, in the work force it should be looked at the same as alcohol where if you come to work stoned, just like if you were drunk, you would be asked to leave. Drug tests for THC should no longer bar you from gaining or keeping your job and should be understood as blood alcohol levels that being present in the blood does not equate with being under the influence.
The thc induced psychosis is up by 400% since 2020. Emergency rooms are getting 10 to 12 teens a week for weed induced mental heath problems. This should not be made any easier for our kids to get. We need WAY more awareness of the dangers.
This is happening in the US and Canada. And i am sure elsewhere. Marijuana isnt safe anymore.
I personally do not believe this at least for my area most of the kids in my area are constantly getting DUIās and unfortunately passing away in accidents due to the poor regulation of alcohol in the area. while marijuana has had no apparent issues as far as Iām aware but with said legalization there should be proper teaching in school about all of the possible side affects and common issues with marijuana so the have a heathy and safe experience when they are older and or eligible.
We support the legalization and our suggestion would be to put cannabis under the department of agriculture. What is everyone elseās opinion?
