Creating more housing is crucial since the amount of houses being built cannot keep up with the demand due to corporations buying up single family homes and the increased amount of immigration. We need a bill that incentivizes individuals and businesses to create affordable housing in the form of a tax credit/deduction. Additionally this bill could partially restrict big corporations from buying single family homes and controlling the entire housing market altogether. This can be done by penalizing corporations with additional fees when buying single family homes, while simultaneously encouraging them to build more single family homes instead.

and if you get enough section 8 it will drive the price of rent down on the regular market too.
