I would like the ability to vote on more policies I agree with. I’m completely limited on votes and not able to vote on so many that are coming into my feed. All I’m able to do is “heart” them after I reach my limit. Hoping we can get a lot more votes and support more ideas on the platform so that other policies can move up in the feed.
Me Too!
There’s some really good stuff going on in here and I’m vote-limited, so I can’t help bring along the ideas that I think have substance!
I sent an email to the team and they have increased it! Not sure to how much.
I just joined and it seems I have 15 votes to use. I did not find info about where to see this quantity and how or when more will be allocated (may have missed it).
15 votes isn’t nearly enough. Even 30 might not be enough. Obviously we don’t want people just going through and voting for a ton of stuff, but there are definitely more than 15 issues of concern.
More votes please, I can’t even vote for the policies I’ve created! Or let me unvote some of the votes I did before I realized how few votes I’d get in total.
Why would there be a limit on votes?
Why wouldnt you want our opinion on every topic. I ran out of votes almost immediately because there is some realy good stuff going on in here.
Okay so how many votes are we allowed to have and how often do we get more is it 15 a day, 15 a week well I hope it’s not 15 total cuz I already almost used all mine. I would definitely like to have like 50 votes a day I’m retired I mean I’m farming but I’m retired and my goats really don’t take that much work I enjoy reading especially when it’s interesting and this is interesting so I could use 50 votes a day that would be good.
Yeah I agree
Depends on the purpose of voting. If it’s to feel the pulse of what most people feel is most important then few votes makes sense. If you vote for all topics/policies then it makes voting pointless. Choose what’s most important to you. I could see raising the amount every now and then to add some flexibility.
How could voicing your opinion on anything related to this country be pointless?
I am raising 6 children in this place and i have more concerns than 10 or 15
What’s the purpose of limiting people to 15 votes, is it to avoid spam, or to make people concentrate on only voting for their very top issues?
I would think they could provide 15 votes every two or three weeks. In other words, base it on a time frame and the users engagement. I’m sure they will address it somehow.
Why vote… if you’re going to vote for everything? You’re missing the point.
That’s reasonable.
Thanks, I try!
@Jay can you provide more insight into how the votes work exactly?
@CPeacock “more than 15” is not equivalent to “vote for everything”.
There’s already nearly 4,000 policy threads posted.
Hyperbole aside, @Patriot17 is right, there are more than 15 topics that are worthy of elevating.
Things that matter to us, significantly and personally:
- We have great grandkids in school, so we have education
- Those schools provide some meals so we have child nutrition concerns.
- We have a farm, so we have aggricultural and livestock concerns.
- We have health concerns, for ourselves and for our grand and great grandkids.
- We have government overreach concerns.
- We have 3-letter agency power expansion concerns.
- We have waste of our hard-earned tax dollars concerns.
- We have economic concerns.
- We have lawfare concerns.
- We have voting integrity concerns.
- We have military force integrity concerns.
- We have veterans affairs concerns.
- We have international conflict / war concerns.
- We have regulation of health care and natural health options concerns.
- We have integrity in government (lying, propaganda) concerns.
- We have elected official misbehavior (insider trading, etc) concerns.
That’s just my top-hits list.
On 15 votes, I can’t even raise one thread in each topic in that list.
More votes please.
Well spoken, thank you!
According to the new rules - raise your “trust” level, get more votes. A reasonable approach. You can stop crying now.
Trust level seems a useful strategy.
And “crying”? Really?
You do get points for consistency on the hyperbole though.
