I understand the first ammendment guves freedom of the press, but we have to many bias and hard partisan-ship from certain media outlets including CNN and Fox. Americans should be getting correct information inbany and all matters. What we have seen with this past election is that a lot of democrats have been severely undermined and misled with false information and propaganda leading ti a whole new wave of mental upheaval. The media and the press should be held accountable no matter what side they lean to, and offer the American people correct and true information from a comlletely impartial view so they may make proper, educated, and informed decisions

I wonder what we can do to ensure that news reporters are not biased and often broadcast untruth while subverting facts as if they are paid advertisement. Yet, scarier than the paid advertisement, they were not presented as such to warn the unknowing public. Rather, these free propaganda were presented as factual though extremely one-sided!!! If we already have laws that governs the ethical guidelines for conduct of journalists, then, we need to enforce them. Is there an ethics board that can hold journalist accountable like all licensing board for professionals?
To ensure accuracy, perhaps we can have accuracy ratings. Another perhaps not-so-good idea is live ratings with likes, comments, and votes (true, dont know, and false graph live on air where people add their votes in real-time).
While we are at it with holding the Lying Media accountable for lying and false propaganda, we should probably also hold members of Congress accountable for allowing the government and media mouthpieces to legally spread propaganda to American citizens in the first place. You see, it used to be illegal to brainwash WE THE PEOPLE with lies and propaganda – the government was only allowed to do that to other countries.
Then, suddenly one day, some kind and loving congressmen decided to update this law, making it LEGAL to lie to the American People with any sort of propaganda they wanted (ie: Does “Safe And Effective” bring something to mind?). These congressmen (for whatever brilliant reason) thought it was a good idea to start legally lying to Americans); so they created a bill called:

They call it “Modernization” to alter the wording to make it LEGAL for propaganda to be used on the American People. Then, they turned to their fellow Media Mouthpieces and served up big steaming piles of lies with every segment they ran – and this has been going on to this day.
Perhaps we should consider going to the source of this deception…the congressmen of the 112th Congress, who voted on, and passed this propaganda-enabling garbage legislation, and hold them to account for causing it to happen in the first place. It would be nice to have them create a two-thousand page essay (like their bill sizes when they dont want it read in two days) having them articulate why lying to the American People is such a nobel idea.
