Once the current version of the US department of Education is disbanded, form a department that will set real attainable standards that will return the US to best educated. The department should set up a system that will ensure that every High School graduate has a complete useful education with an understanding of history, civics, finance, literature, plus STEM.
Higher education should be paid by businesses who determine what education is necessary to meet their needs. Higher education should not be bloated with useless classes just to indoctrinate or milk the students’ ability to get outrageous loans. Trade schools and universities will equally compete.
Charlie Kirk and Mike Rowe should head this new education department .
