Students will no longer pay for higher education unless they can gain employment in their field of study post graduation. Universities will spend the final semesters focused on interview training, internships, and relevant workplace expectations/etiquette.
Upon graduation, the university will labor along with the student to get them employed in their field of study. If the student is able to gain relevant employment, the relevant university department will take a cut of their paycheck for the amount of years the student was in school. If the student is unable to gain employment in their relevant field of study, the university forfeits claim to any of the students’ income unless student is able to gain work in said field in the future.
I believe this will help many students pursue higher education as well as cut down on useless degrees from our higher education institutions. I also believe this will create more trade schools to get citizens trained and implemented into their career of choice. Finally, our government will no longer need to give financial aid to students.
Careful consideration and debate must go into the amount university departments can garnish.
