Government must be more responsive to citizens. I am fed up dealing with Interative Voice Response (IVR) units that aren’t helpful. It is especially infuriating when IVR systems don’t understand what the issue is and hang up on you. An IVR system should NEVER NEVER hang up on someone but rather connect them with a “real” person so they can get the help they need. There should always be an option to request an Agent or enter “0” for help. IVR systems are an obstacle to getting help.
