I think it would be beneficial to sanction the construction of government funding gyms with free memberships to citizens, with a membership granted after showing U.S. citizenship. I think if the government truly cared about the health of its people, it would offer solutions to the ever-growing issue that is the obesity rate in America, and this is a direct solution to the problem.
A large reason people do not go to the gym is membership costs and access to a gym. I think if the government built gyms that had free memberships, it would encourage people to utilize them and would ultimately lead to a healthier society.
