Give Nurse Practitioners FULL Autonomous Practice Authority in Every State!

EVERY State has different rules (and fees) for Nurse Practitioners. Many states have Nurse Practitioners who, with a certain number of years’ experience, can be autonomous, filling in the gaps in healthcare in an affordable way. There are other states, like Pennsylvania, who require a Nurse Practitioner to have TWO collaborating physicians (one available in case the first one can’t be reached), and of course, these MD’s get paid extravagantly for maybe NEVER being consulted because the Nurse Practitioner has many years experience (32 years in my case).
NP’s with experience, should be allowed to be autonomous in their practice and ONE license. An NP already has to be a Registered Nurse first (one fee and license) and then can apply for the NP license (another fee and license), and in some states, like PA, ANOTHER Prescriptive Authority License (another fee and license). CRAZY right?!?
ONE license, one fee which includes RN, NP and Prescriptive Authority.
Thank you

how about no. Let me guess, you don’t want to pay for supervision? It’s always about money. NP reimbursement should be cut to 50% of a physician. It would help save billions of tax payer money. Afterall, NPs have about 3% the training hours it would stil be generous
