Freedom States vs. Free-stuff states

FREEDOM STATES vs FREE-STUFF STATES

  1. Free-dom States vs.
    Free-stuff States.
  2. Libs have as much right to push for govt they prefer as do conservatives and libertarians.
  3. Neuter Fed. Govt. , return sovereignty/power to states.
  4. Choose your type of state, autonomous individualism or paternalistic welfare state.
  5. Should libertarians prevent others from living in a paternalistic state if that is what they choose?
  6. If Fed. Govt. had minded it’s place we would not have this conflict. One or more of the fifty states would surely suit each of us.
  7. Why should any group; social liberals /conservatives or, economic liberals/conservatives want to force anyone to live in their utopia?
  8. This may prevent need for Freedom states to re-establish State Militias to re-secure “…the security of a free state…” (per 2nd Amendment).
  9. It is said the Fed. political parties should compromise more and be bipartisan. This compromise is made more necessary because the Federal Govt. is continually making decisions for, and imposing on, the states. The Fed. Legislators fight each other for their respective constituents and their “team” (party).
(There should only be “pick-up teams” for any given “contest” {issue}.) They constantly battle, trying to make “one shoe” fit everyone. If they “minded their own business” (constitutional federal business) then there could be 50 different states and surely each citizen could find the state that best fit him or her.
  10. We now have a situation like the founders had with Britain, in that the Federal Govt. is usurping the states powers to govern themselves as King George did to the colonies.
  11. We should all unify around everyone getting what they want by each of us living in a state with the system closest to our ideals.
  12. A single nation of different states, a Republic, a Federation.
  13. Why does SCOTUS always seem to look to BOR to see if it prohibits a power rather than go to the main body of US Const. to see if that power was granted to Fed. Govt. in the first place?
  14. If diversity is a great end in itself, why does the Fed. work so hard to prevent diversity among the states?
  15. The more specific the Fed. Govt is, the more restrictive, the areas in which it endeavors to control or manage, the fewer the people that can pursue happiness.
  16. Of course the Free-stuff states will in time be exposed as being unsuitable.
  17. The Federal Govt. must abide by the Ninth and Tenth Amendments!
