We should push forward a policy that forces Companies, Organizations, and other groups of people who pay for research to be done regarding a product, policy, or other similar thing to release/publish any and all research they paid to be done regarding the product.
- Companies tend to cherry-pick data and research that leads people to believe what they want them too in regard to their products. This could contribute to the rise of class action lawsuits, unhealthy food additives, and other issues facing Americans today.
- It should be unlawful to withhold important information that could impact the physical, mental, and emotional health of Americans in order to increase a profit margin or pursue an ideology.
- People need to see objective research that highlights the positives and negatives in order to be able to make informed decisions about themselves.
- Research needs to be made into a publication and peer reviewed in order to be used for typical court cases against Companies or Organizations that are undermining health concerns.
Due to the reasons above, it should be assumed by the government in the interest of American health and safety, that all research data be made available by publisher and through journals to better protect the citizens over large companies.
