Define/limit what a President can do via an executive order. Require all EOs to have a sunset.
Executive Orders are increasingly replacing the role of Congress in the passage of laws. Congress should have “veto authority” over executive orders similar to the Presidents veto authority over laws that Congress passes. Executive Orders should be limited in scope to a year and should require an approval of Congress for any extension. Executive orders should not create permanent benefits for citizens, noncitizens, and federal funding may not be moved from a Congresionally approved funding stream to execute or enforce an executive order.
