The basis of Western Civilisation has its roots in the most revolutionary laws handed down for thousands of years and is more relevant and important now than ever. To share a single moral and ethical nexus is critical for all societies and every nation. This document must be a common point of reference and agreement for every American, regardless of nationality or religion. Our nation does not lend preference to any particular religion but the freedom of religion is also not the freedom from basic and fundamental principles of universal truth.
