The America First Movement will put an end to and ban the community rating system present in the American healthcare system.
The community rating system is a system that is intended to encourage the wellbeing of American families living in a community by equalizing the cost of insurance for all individuals in a community regardless of their health circumstances.
The existence of the community rating system has come at the expense of young and healthy Americans while coming to benefit the sickly, overweight and elderly.
The existence of this policy has resulted in many young and healthy Americans to go uninsured despite the great risks involved in going uninsured.
The mass exodus of the young and healthy from insurance would cause the sales and profit of healthcare insurance companies, forcing them to increase the price of insurance.
It should also be noted that in wake of this mass exodus of young and healthy Americans from the insurance system, insurance companies would lobby for the creation of a 600 dollar tax on all families that go with health insurance with this action coming as insurance companies kept their prices high.
The America First Movement and the United States at large must revoke the community rating system and allow the restoration of the prior free market based system that allowed healthy Americans who have abstained from obesity, smoking, drinking and other detrimental health factors that led to the creation of disease.
In this system, one’s health and wellbeing would be incentivized as one is forced into taking responsibility for themselves otherwise they would run the risk of paying notably higher healthcare premiums.
This system will incentivize the healthy to continue maintaining their health and vigor while encouraging individuals with unhealthy or inactive lifestyles to embrace healthy futures for themselves and their families. The America First Movement should support this policy, as it supports the health and wellbeing of American families.
