Enable Normalized Nudity Zones (nudism zones)

Having spent a day with nudists and meeting many great individuals, I believe we can use more diverse lifestyles in society. According to The American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), one of the largest nudist organizations, claimed around 213,000 members in 2014. A 2017 source suggested less than 1% of Americans identify as nudists. Through my experience learning and making friends with nudists, I will propose this seemingly absurd policy. This policy is to allow or increase the amount of areas in society that allow for casual nudity, nudism, and naturism.

These can be residential areas, buildings, gated urban areas, and water recreational areas. These zones are only for those who do not mind nudity, accept the natural bodies of others, and who want nudity to be a casual part of their own life.

Those in such zones do have a responsibility to ensure keeping the peace and integrity of these areas. They should understand the importance of sexual discipline, consent, hygene, and to upold a personal responsibility to keep the peace and perhaps even build value in their communities.

These zones are for the friendly, those who want to help protect others and their community, and who can help look out for each other to build a peacuful community where everyone exposes vulnerabilities, can be their authentic selves, and overall enjoy their life with a greater sense of freedom.

The outcome of such zones can be to have zones of tramendous freedom which allow people to open up for an even more free and liberating society and lifestyle where they can see life with a new mindsets, a different way to socially interact with like-minded others, and a new way to explore, discover, or experiment narratives within themselves and gain their own meanings and values of life through the natural.

I suspect this isn’t a federal matter. I could be wrong; if there’s any experts on decency laws here, hopefully they’ll see your post. Also:

I expect people like you to behave this way. Those who have no experience with these things will act immaturely. To your suprise, you can seperate nudity and sexual arousal. These are legitimate people with legitimate different lifestyles. I see something natural, you see something sexual. I am not suprised at all. You are conditioned this way by culture, lack of experience, and society. When you gain experience and discipline with these things, you’ll understand. After a long while in this enviornment, you barely even notice it anymore.

Try modesty, it’s far better than immodesty.

Life is short. You can live it the way you want (within reason). It is also easy to see things in one dimension. When one has no awareness or interest to look into things, they remain ignorent and dissmissive of what exists. When one follows others blindly, they might walk off cliffs or live life unaware of what they truly want or what better life could be out there for them. An intelligent person seeks truths and is curious to learn more about everything.

I’m not a nudist, but I found many nudists to be very unique and interesting people. John F. Kennedy supposedly enjoyed the bare outdoors. In my experience, some individuals were strange, but some are full of grace and it is an honest joy to be around them. Overall, people are people and many love to live the way that makes them happy. It’s their pursuit to happiness. I found this form of community to have a deeper sense and more liberating sense of freedom then the average society. That is what intrigues me. I think it would be great to have more zones with this more liberating and expansive form of community. A society where you can just be yourself authentically, have a deeper community past the surface level, and have a community that accepts your flaws, weirdnesses, and vulnerabilities. A community that just accepts you the way you are, birthday suit or not. I believe these zones can be a gateway to building a more free and liberating society, culture, and close community with a lot more freedoms.

GTFOOH. We have bigger fish to fry.

Just putting my ideas out there. People might not favor my ideas and thats okay, but I will do what I must do. If I dont do it, nobody will. I only have one life in this existance to live. I must make these policies. If nobody likes it, so be it. Tell me im wrong and why. I will stand for what I believe. Nobody can tell me otherwise. I believe with experience comes wisdom. I’m sure there will be more absurd ideas to come. This wont be the last.

Okay Paul, we listened and you have had your say. Speaking of which, you invite comments and even critique, but then say no one can tell you anything. Please only speak out of one side of your mouth at a time. I personally agree with the modesty viewpoint. However, whatever you want to do within your own backyard (as long as it has a high fence) is your business, whether we agree or not. That is true freedom, just don’t confuse liberty with license.

“I will stand for what I believe” Thats what I was refering when i stated “nobody can tell me otherwise.”

I would like to ask questions if anyone is interested.
Why is this so offensive or immoral? Is it religeous teachings? Unamerican or doesnt fit conservative values? Is it people are too shy or embarrased about their bodies? Is it cultural upbringing, privacy concerns, trauma, negative experiences? Is it social discomfort or perceiced objectification? Fear of exploitation and abuse? Body issues? Is it the label of being taboo or being called a deviant? Is it being labeled as crazy, not normal, or seen as someone who should be seperated or ostrasized from society? Is it family values and to keep kids safe? Or is it seen as not having decourum, seen as disrespectful, or not law-abiding?
Please fill me in. I was raised in an environment where people didnt care and laughed about nudity.

I will, I’ve been at events in which nudity has been allowed or the statutes have been relaxed and i can tell you from experience that when an inch is given, a mile is taken. Perfect examples are pride parades, Many allow nudity and those who do you will find people performing lewd sex act in full view of the public.

I dont associate with Pride because it’s a politcal psyop movement that uses the mentally ill to enact radical agendas and social changes. Its not organic, its forced propaganda from the corporate and federal level. It makes the 90s where i grew up in look like a whole new reality. Nudism has been around throughout history. From Greeks to tribes. It doesnt lead to lewd acts when practiced ethically like in nudist resorts. Those with radical ideologies grounded in real degeneracy cause things to decay and become degenerate over time.
Surely if you have been to a nudist resort, you’d know this. It’s in their rules.

I think a true intellectual individual would ask: what drives a large group of people to want to live this lifestyle? What are the rules? Does it enable or how does it manage or prevent degeneracy? How and why do people see freedom in this lifestyle? What drives average people to dislike it? Is it ignorence, arrogance, internal conflict, or blind adherence to culture to inflate ones ego, value, or to show one is above another on behalf of being somesort of virtue-savior to a perceived mainstream ingroup? Is there something I do not know about this group of people? What makes people ignorent about learning more? Why is this idea being proposed to have more areas to expand this lifestyle? That’s what I think a true intellectual would ask.

You asked a lot of questions Paul and they are good and valid questions. The answer to them all is that it comes down to the virtue of modesty.

The virtue of modesty is about having a humble and respectful attitude toward oneself and others. It involves recognizing one’s strengths and worth without arrogance, while also acknowledging limitations without shame. Modesty helps balance self-confidence with humility.

In practice, modesty can show up as:

Not boasting about achievements, even when they’re impressive.

Dressing or behaving in a way that shows respect for oneself and others, often in alignment with cultural or personal values.

Being open to feedback, recognizing that there’s always more to learn.

Avoiding the need to dominate conversations or constantly seek attention.

At its core, modesty protects against vanity and pride, encouraging us to live with dignity and integrity while staying grounded.

Without virtue we would live in a VICIOUS society. I think the evidence clearly shows that our society is seriously lacking in virtue. Anything that contributes to that lack is to be avoided.

The human body is wonderful and beautiful. The virtue of modesty puts it on the pedestal it deserves so it can be honoured appropriately.

And if he’d done it in public or it had been well-known about him then I suspect he never would have been president.
