Non-Compete agreements are commonplace today for average American workers. For those employees that are not in executive roles and privy to confidential strategic planning and decision making, non-compete agreements should be eliminated. We should have the right to work anywhere, especially when we face a job loss due to downsizing or transitional impact. A company should not have the ability to prevent you from finding and gaining employment in a business sector that you are a professional or specialist in. Should have the freedom to work where and when you want. No legal action should be applicable to those qualifying as non-compete ineligible.
