Anyone put into a representative office should only make the amount of money that the average income for the population they represent is. Along with this, politicians cannot accept donations from lobbyists or anything of the sort. This way it redirects politicians to being public servants instead of it being viewed as an easy way to accumulate money and power. Additionally, if the group you’re representing can’t afford to live, making sure the representative experiences that will motivate change.
