Drug screening and audit for cash welfare recipients and child support recipients

People who collect cash assistance or child support should provide receipts and random drug screens while collecting government assistance.

I think it’s a Great Idea!

Absolutely 100%. If people have to take drug test prior to or during employment, then this shouldn’t even be a question. You’re collecting tax payer money, prove you are worthy of the freebies!!!

I absolutely agree with drug screenings for all welfare recipients.

Child support is not welfare and not tax sponsored. They only monitor payments from the paying parent and distribute that payment. Only when they confiscated tax returns in lieu of past due support do they intervene. So I am not sure that falls under the same category of welfare benefits. P.S. I am 71 and do not collect any support or welfare bennies.
