Agreed. The largest effect of the arrival of so many illegals is wage suppression. This doesn’t harm elites, such as Bill Gates or Chuck Schumer, but it’s a BIG problem for America’s poor and middle-class citizens.
Plus, with AI and robots on the near-term horizon, the problem is going to get WAY worse. So, to the illegals I say, “Sayonara!”

I agree that sanctuary states need relief big-time. (ESPECIALLY from places like Aurora. What a mess.) However, if ANY governor decides to be obstructionist, that will reduce deportation progress to a crawl.
Thus, deporting from Red states is the ONLY sensible approach. In other words, Colorado residents should make to vote Red in all coming elections. That way we can also deport from Colorado. (And, obviously, sooner is WAY better than later.)
I think they ALL should be deported! This isn’t their home, it’s our home. We don’t go to their home and set up shop they shouldn’t be allowed to do it here. Anchor babies law is just stupid, all the illegals regardless of how long they’ve been here they’ve all came illegally period.

My son was killed by an illegal in June of 2023 as a pedestrian in Springfield Oregon. The illegal had been drinking, he ran my son over with his car and he ran. “Hit and run” then he proceeded to circle around 2 more times where my son laid in the street according to witnesses. He had 3 opportunities to stop and try to help my son and he didn’t. My son died from his injuries. The man (21 year old WILBER ALEXANDER GRIJALVA ORTIZ) was arrested minutes later by the Springfield Police Department after spotting the vehicle in traffic. He was arrested, an interpreter had to be brought in just to question Mr. Ortiz because he didn’t speak any English. He was released that same day!! Pending an investigation. Our family could not believe this guy was released. He killed someone, our son!! And they didn’t hold this guy for one single day! Oregon law protected this illegal every step of the way. As expected, when the investigation was completed which took approximately 3 months, the illegal disappeared. Nobody in the Springfield Police Department has made any effort to find this guy other than issue a warrant for his arrest and they denied a request by me to obtain any public records on this illegal stating that the “case is still open”. Who knows if this illegal is still in the country but we the family are devastated by the loss of my 34 year old son who was loved by all. The Biden administration is responsible for my sons death for letting this illegal in, and the State of Oregon is responsible for letting this guy run free. No Justice for my son, myself, his mother, his sister and everyone who loved him. I’m praying that somehow my sons murderer because thats what he did, is caught through President Trumps mass deportation program and not deported! No, I want him to face Justice right here and not just sent back to his country.
Why would we jail them? We must deport in an organized, efficient manner. We must also have proactive policy in place to ensure they do not re-enter our country illegally again. They must follow our immigration laws. We are in desperate need of an immigration enforcement team that is robust, smart, courageous and dedicated to upholding our Constitutional laws.

This is commonly repeated - “doing the work that no one else wants to do” - usually pointing to “picking crops” but it is factually inaccurate. There is already a migratory farm laborer visa that is easily obtained for that work. The catch is you don’t stay. The people come in during harvest and leave afterwards to move to the next harvest. There is an entire circuit between North and South America as they move between countries to perform this work. The picking crops bit doesn’t make alot of sense because there is nowhere in the US where they are needed for picking crops all year round - if there are (southern CA or Florida), certainly not in the numbers to cause the wholesale depression of wages.
Where they are working are in places like restaurants, small manufacturing, and in meat packing facilities. If they suddenly weren’t here tomorrow, wages would adjust to attract people to work there. There are places in South Dakota, for example, where McDonalds was advertising $15-20/hr to start with no experience because the area was experiencing a boom and they needed to compete with the other available jobs. Now if we got the government out of the job of competing for the worker by paying them to not work, you’d have more labor participation. Our Labor Participation Rate is horrible, with government being the biggest driver for these low numbers.

Yet this is the one comment that makes all the others look irrelevant. This is clearly the best idea. How is there anything else that needs to be said on the topic? Illegals are parasites on the American people, and single mothers are too. You should edit your proposal and remove that portion.
I would also like to add the homes that were given to the illegal immigrants should be sold and the money given to the police entities to use to deport them. I am in agreement with your proposal.
Well, we’ll have to reign in the digital vote systems and counting from central command first, return counting to individual counties, force voter ID, and require paper ballots. Mail in is a mess here too. In 2020 we were sent mail in ballots for people whom had not lived in our home in fifteen years. We’d never been given those before but apparently the state loaded up the paper ballots and sent them indiscriminately all around. We can’t force people indoctrinated by fake news media to suddenly adopt pro American positions. Now here in Thornton, CO, we have zany anti trump protestors doing pop up protests by the gas station.
To counter your point though; Sending the message by deporting from blue states is perhaps the strongest message to send. That people can’t just flee somewhere else to continue breaking the law. That’s not how law and order works. Thank you ICE for the continued efforts in Colorado.
EVERYONE, including Americans, wants prosperity! No one wants to be poor and downtrodden. So just because a person “wants prosperity” isn’t a reason to break our laws and enter our Nation illegally. Anyone wanting a better life in our Country HAS to respect our Laws and that starts with their VERY FIRST STEP ONTO AMERICAN SOIL! Our Laws aren’t a suggestion and they might not be convenient, but Everyone has to repect them IF they want to EARN a Place in our Country. Immigration is a Privilege not a right and not Everyone will qualify. We don’t need Criminals and Law Breakers. We have enough of our home grown criminals. Do things the right way. Enter at a legal entry point. Present your documents. Wait your turn. Don’t try to circumvent the process by wading across the river and trying to cheat by jumping to the front of the line.
