Regulate dental insurance companies. These companies are refusing care that has been diagnosed by doctors. They are not following best practices and causing low income people to lose teeth which leads to lowered quality of life. I work in dentistry and fight for these people daily. It is exhausting. There should be a dental board of our peers that offices could defer to that can over ride a denial for treatment. Then if an insurance company had a certain amount of overrides by this peer group they are fined.
