The environmental protection agency has way too much power, resources and enforcement. I live in NYC and they have something called a noise camera that when reached a certain decibel are ticketed with an $800 fine first offense, $1700 second and so on. No lawyers wanted to assist (because of how new it is) and essentially there was no way out. They have ticketed many stock vehicles that come like this approved through inspections already prior to the dealerships and even when you register the vehicles! Noise cameras in the city that never sleeps is a plain and simple money grab. At least lower the fines or make the cameras location’s known instead of hiding them and moving them around the boroughs!!!
