Declaration of War

We need to go back to the Constitution on this one. I understand the need for quick strikes, covert actions and such in the world we live in today. But Afghanistan and Iraq etc? The politicians want cover and non declarations give them just that.
In 1917 President Wilson in asking for a Declaration of War said this:
“I have called the Congress into extraordinary session because there are serious, very serious, choices of policy to be made, and made immediately, which it was neither right nor constitutionally permissible that I should assume the responsibility of making.” How the times have changed. Over 100,000 US soldiers have died on battlefields with no such consideration.

One word that is diversity that comes to mind. It would be smarter if people would stop chasing money, power, and most importantly religion disagreements. Should listen and learn from each other instead of using bombs and projectiles. Could you imagine how advanced we would be with technology and science. Unfortunately, for whatever reason we are the only species that destroy what we create. We should be learning from each other and resolving disagreements in more civilized manner. I served the military this is what I see after years of dual service Navy and Army. I do agree with this post I had to put in my thought.
