Education begins during the early stages of life. With daycares charging parents over $1000 a month, it is becoming unreasonable (this is without including bring diapers, wipes, and formula). Some families have to make the decision to become a one income household; however, it is not an affordable decision for many families. Not only that, but the waitlists for daycares are astonishing as parents wait months in order to receive care. If our tax dollars go towards the schools, then it should also go towards the education and care of infants and toddlers.
