I propose we make a 1-mile-thick military base or drone monitored no man’s land between Mexico and the US. All unauthorized personnel will be shot on site. We have signs all over our secret military bases that read: “Use of DEADLY FORCE authorized” and “Trespassers will be shot on sight” so why can’t we just setup either a military base that spans the entire border (except the legal entryways of course) or a drone patrolled one-mile-thick zone where all humans who are found in that zone get gunned down? It seems draconian, but after the first 100 or so people, there would be zero attempts in the future. Our border would be secured with very little cost. We need to train our military. Our drones need somewhere to fly and train. Why not utilize a one mile stretch of land at our southern border?
