Instead of congress voting on their own raises, put congressional raises on a national ballot.

If they do not give social security recipients a raise, no raise for them. I bet if we voted in November for their raises, they would get stuff done.

State Representative Report Cards submitted by the state’s people to ensure they are representing their people’s views and not just lining their pockets.

We need a government BY THE PEOPLE! Our current government has placed themselves in a separate category and do not live under the same rules and policies they place on the people. That is NOT constitutional!
What ever laws they pass MUST apply to them. If we are required to pay into Social Security and they pass legislation pertaining to it, they also must pay into social security and live on Medicare health insurance in retirement!
This should also apply to ALL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES! No more full salary ‘pensions’ for government workers ($8,000-$10,000/mth) while the rest of us are expected to survive on $1000 to $2000 a month.
And they should be limited to the COLA same as SS(of course their 2% is alot more than mine)
