Committees

We need to have more transparency on the people who sit on these committees to ensure they do not have conflict of interests. For example If your spouse or family holds shares or works in a defense contractor business, then you should not be allowed to be in the military spending committee. Too many are coming out rich because they are voting to benefit themselves. And there should not be a chokehold on the positions of authority in these committees. I heard a few years back of a jr senator or representative speaking about paying to be on those committees- if that’s true then we need to question why?
