Bill Title: Citizen Protection and Pharmaceutical Accountability Act
Section 1: Purpose
To allow citizens harmed by vaccines or medications to seek justice through litigation against pharmaceutical manufacturers and to ensure the integrity of the political process by prohibiting financial contributions from these entities to political parties and politicians.
Section 2: Right to Sue
- Citizens who suffer harm due to vaccines or medications shall have the right to file lawsuits against the manufacturers of said products.
- The burden of proof shall be on the manufacturer to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the product in question.
- This right extends to all individuals, regardless of whether the harm was disclosed by the manufacturer.
Section 3: Prohibition of Political Contributions
- Pharmaceutical manufacturers, including their subsidiaries and third-party representatives, are prohibited from making financial contributions or donations to political parties, political committees, or individual candidates for public office.
- Any entity found in violation of this provision shall be subject to fines and penalties as determined by the appropriate regulatory authority.
Section 4: Enforcement
- This Act shall be enforced by the Department of Justice and relevant state agencies.
- Legal actions initiated under this Act must be filed within three years of the date of harm or discovery of harm.
Section 5: Severability
If any provision of this Act is found to be invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Section 6: Effective Date
This Act shall take effect immediately upon passage.
